De WordPresstillägg vi oftast installerar är Cache Enabler, Contact Form 7, Disable Comments. När det gäller Cache letar vi efter en som skapar riktiga html filer som vi kan styra nginx att läsa. Just nu är det Cache Enabler som vinner.
https://letsencrypt.org is now live (but in beta). Centos 6 users needs Python 2.7 (use SCL) after applying for betas at letsencrypt. CentOS 7 works just fine.
Most mayor sites are now moving away from Flash, which is a really god thing! It has been a really slow process but this summer things have changed and suddenly many sites have stopped using Flash. The web will be much better (eventually).
Did a test of the new OpenVZ / Virtuozzo 7, I used the bare metal ISO installer and that was a really nice experience for a beta product. When the initial bugs have been sorted out (as yum update etc) it will be quite a step forward. It certainly will be better and easier to manage…

It is quite simple to install a more recent postfix version on centos 6. Just do: vi /etc/yum.repos.d/epel-postfix.repo [epel-postfix] name=Latest upstream Postfix 2.9.x and 2.10.x release for RHEL6 baseurl=http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/mstevens/postfix/epel-$releasever/$basearch/ enabled=1 skip_if_unavailable=1 gpgcheck=0 [epel-postfix-source] name=Latest upstream Postfix 2.9.x and 2.10.x release for RHEL6 – Source baseurl=http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/mstevens/postfix/epel-$releasever/SRPMS enabled=0 skip_if_unavailable=1 gpgcheck=0 Then do a regular yum update.
Har i dagarna testat CityCloud, Azure och Googles Developers Console genom att installera Centos 6 & 7. Visst funkar det mycket bra men här kommer ett par iakttagelser.
